Poems from The Merzbook, my book on the artist Kurt Schwitters, join others by Picabia, Ball, Arp, and Tzara on the new CD Dutch Futurismo by the Hungarian ensemble Festival of Misfits.

“Enemy Alien” derives from the exiled German artist’s troubles in England during World War II, and incorporates a few phrases from his writing of the time. You can listen to it on Soundcloud.
